Save the Nostalgia

As i remember back then, late 90's until present, people were start rushing to buy a brand new car which mostly is a FF drive train cars.Car manufacturer from Proton Saga (1st model were launched in 1985),Honda, Toyota and many more, these car have a new 'life' of what a modern car has offered and promised to give to their owner until now..

But then, what happened to those car which has serves their master more than 10 years? 20 years? Or what i can say is, a car with a manufactured year 1985 and below?Where is those car now? The great saving petrol Datsun 510 and Toyota Celica’s, the Legendary Mazda RXs,etc..where are they? Sad but true, after giving their owners a troublesome or a little malfunctioning, some of the owners of these car has neglected or just ignore them, put them under the shed, outside of their house for years and years, and some of them just parked their carinside of the jungle and worst part is Scrap yard Where in a weeks that car is a totally scrapped! For sure we are totally can't accept this..

There are many excuses for what happened. And I'm not blaming them for what they have done, as it is their cars by the way.. :)

By chance, there was a 'spark' and 'fire' that inspired our youngsters to save these car from being completely 'deleted' from this country..They start to own these car, and restoring it to a perfect level as possible. And others love to restoring it,modifying their original engine, combining the car with a modern technology, put a good wheels on it and most important criteria is the Fender Mirror!Yet,still maintaining the original looks. This kind of people loves to see their car in the top form as a brand new..At this time many youngster owner of Datsun,Celica,Escort etc.came out to start restoring their car.hunting for JDM parts to make the car JDM's look as possible..
It is a good thing to know, that this restoring-scene has been grew up tremendously fast in Malaysia..To those olskoool car enthusiast out there, keep your enthusiasm to the higher level, and keep it up whatever you do with your Old great car, just keep up with the passion, the spirit, the focus, the sparks that ignited your dream..go and pursue your olskool dream car of yours!
